LADY DOAK COLLEGE TRAINED IN SHORT FILM MAKING

Tiruchy: Don Bosco MEDIA trained 30 social work students of Lady Doak college of Madurai in short film making. The three day workshop that started on 9th concluded on 11th August with screening of short films made by the students.

The training concentrated on camera handling, developing stories and writing screen play and shooting. The trainers assisted them in editing and sound mixing.

The well-made short films were screened amidst continuous applause of students. The short films had themes of forgiveness, greed, food sold beyond expiry dates. Students were very happy to be associated with Don Bosco Institution for its hospitality and respect for young people. The students promised to carry forward the values and skills imparted through the training for the betterment of society.

The college administration is moving towards making this training a pre-requisite to get their Masters degree. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to be signed with Don Bosco MEDIA in this regard.
