DRAWING FIELD TRIP TO YERCAUD
Sixteen students of Animation and Graphics department, DBIICE, along with the staff scooted off to Yercaud for a two day field trip from 28 - 29 August 2010. The mission was to try their hand in out-door sketch.
From dawn to dusk the students sweated it out in Yercaud. Whole day they were busy drawing and painting the scenic beauty of Yercaud hills. During their short stay the captured the panoramic view of Kiliyur falls, Yercaud lake, Retreat view point and Yanamalai in their canvas. Fortunately the climate did not play spoilsport. Students bubbled with joy during and after the trip. Alwin a student said after the trip "I enjoyed the trip. It was a joyful learning for me."
Don't rush to conclusions. It was not a mere pleasure trip but more an educative trip. Seeing is believing! Have a look at some of the works of our students and decide for yourself.
