LIFE…LOVE…HOPE… THE TRILOGY HITS THEATRES AND ITS FIRST EVER FOR SHORT FILMS….
Trichy: The trilogy of short films produced by alaihal ‘MIDEA’, (Media Initiatives for Development, Empowerment and Awareness) the production wing of Don Bosco ‘MIDEA’ of Trichy Province hit the theatres in Six cities. The film release event in Chennai was graced by Dr. M. K. Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Dr. Padmasree Kamal Haasan, Mr. N. Subramanian, Mayor of Chennai, Fr. Joe Andrew sdb, the Vice-Provincial of Chennai, Mr. Udhayanidhi Stalin, the co-producer of the trilogy and hosts of film directors, actors and well-known personalities. The first screening was held in Chennai. And later in Coimbatore, Salem, Madurai, Trichy and Thanjavur.
The release was marked by events six cities. The entire cost of the trilogy and the expenses of events were locally mobilized. TANSACS (Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Society, AIDS Prevention and Control (APAC), Arumbu Publications, India Cements, INBOX 1305, EFX, Gemini Colour lab, Anand Cine Services and Real IMAGE. This has made the trilogy to be shot in high quality movie cameras.

As the cities were district head-quarters very important people from public life attended functions. All the district collectors and Mayor of Chennai have promised to enforce the theatre owners and distributors to screen any one of the trilogies during intervals of regular films.
The trilogy is also first ever collaborative cinema in short films category. Most of the technicians rendered their services free of cost. Theatres were roped for screening events as corporate social responsibility. And everyone was happy and proud to be associated with venture. Some theatres even cancelled regular film shows to accommodate and give importance to screening of the trilogy.
The screening events were attended by Children, the youth and people living with HIV/AIDS, the HIV/AIDS affected, Transgender persons, School and College students, Members from Non-Governmental Organization, Women from Self-Help Groups and from all walks of life.
Theatres in major cities and district head-quarters shall screen the any one of the short films before or during intervals of regular shows. There are also many requests for screening events in other district head-quarters and towns.
