This is the only profession wherein one is recognized for voice and gift of the gap. The Jockeys convey messages in attractive and appealing ways. They establish a close relationship with listeners and viewers. It is said that they live in the airwaves for the people. Their voices are voices of heart and soul.

It is a profession that requires wit and wisdom, persistence and presence of mind. It is the performance of these Jockeys that make or mar the radio station or television channels. Young people who have new ideas, concepts and enthusiastic are ideal for such profession. In order to make them warm, friendly, spontaneous, dynamic and endowed with communication skills one needs a formal training.

The students are trained in communication aspects, conversation, Body language, news and interviews, Television Broadcasting and essentials, anchoring and presentation, fundamentals of radio broadcasting, radio operational technicalities, presentation skills and production fundamentals. The course takes care of good command over language, extremely good communicative powers, proper voice modulation, good sense of sound and music, good sense of humour and good diction.

It infuses innovative ideas through practical presentations, visits to Radio and Television channels and offering ample chances for compeering and public presentations. Today radio and video jockeying remains a popular career option for the youth. The course is designed to impart technical and hand-on experience to participants in every activity related jockeying. The anchors shall be trained through the medium of English and Tamil.
